First time taking a flight with Zip Air, direct flight from SFO to Tokyo Narita airport. 10 hours and 10 min direct flight. If you are like me and could not care less about TV and in flight meals/snacks, not too bad. If you do care about the above – just purchase it while onboard.
We landed safely in Tokyo and immediately changed our plans. We could not bear the thought of spending another 3-4 hours on the road. We booked a last minute hotel in Tokyo and will enjoy a scenic train ride to Nara tomorrow morning. This night we will spend in the hip Ginza district! Night night!
