We woke at a crack of dawn, well rested and had immediately taken our breath away with the view from our room window. I use no filters for my photos and videos.
At 5:30 am had the beach to ourselves and dove into turquoise, transparent to the very bottom, warm waters of the East China Sea. Which to my embarrassment, I thought was Pacific Ocean. Duh.

The usual suntanning routine of 8:00-12:00 that works in Hawaii, did not work on this island and within an hour we burned like there is no tomorrow! The rest of the day we spent in the hotel room, smearing aloe gel on each other. Lesson learned! We will shift the sunbathing to 7:00-9:00 tomorrow morning!
